William P. Whitlock is a board-certified Physician Assistant with specialized expertise in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Keiser University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Physician Assistant Studies from Auburn University.
Mr. Whitlock has over five years of experience as a first assist in the operating room, with advanced proficiency in complex cranial and spinal procedures. His surgical experience includes deep brain stimulation, skull base approaches, tumor resections, craniotomies, cerebrospinal fluid shunt placement and management, as well as a wide range of spinal interventions and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. He is skilled in the use of advanced navigation and robotic systems, including stealth navigation.
In addition to his operative role, Mr. Whitlock maintains an active practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
